Meriah-Jo Breckenridge
Meriah-Jo Breckenridge, MSc, worked at the Canadian Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal in the areas of immigration appeals and aboriginal law, dealing with large databases, handling sensitive political matters, and acting as the intermediary between parties and the judiciary. Since transitioning to humanitarian research from the government sector, her areas of contribution include conflict early warning, context analysis, program evaluations, security risk management, and humanitarian access. She also manages all of the data assets at Humanitarian Outcomes including the Aid Worker Security Database (AWSD) and the Global Database of Humanitarian Organisations (GDHO). She holds a Master of Science in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Certificate in Data Science.
