Manisha Thomas
Manisha has worked on different humanitarian issues for over 20 years with a range of organisations. As a consultant since 2016, she facilitates meetings, workshops, retreats, and strategy development processes; conducts trainings; and has (co-)authored reports on various topics, including on pooled funds, humanitarian clusters, the humanitarian-development-peace ‘nexus,’ and ethical decision making. She is the part-time Geneva Representative of the Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC) and an independent Board member of the H2H Network. Prior to consulting, she worked with the Emergency Appeals Alliance (EAA), the Association of International Development Agencies (AIDA) in Palestine, the Solutions Alliance, the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) secretariat, and the International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA), where she also supported NGO coordination in Sudan and Haiti. She has an M.A. in International Affairs, Development Studies, from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA), Carleton University, Canada.
